The Sixth Form at King’s is truly unique. From the wide range of subjects on offer, to the innovative choice of enrichment and leadership opportunities beyond the curriculum, Sixth Form at King’s offers a foundation for life.
The first step is to complete the registration form (there is no charge to do this) and to arrange a personal visit to King’s. More detailed information on the admissions process can be found below.
Entrance at 16+ into Year 12
Entry is based on interviews with the Headmaster and Head of Sixth Form and is dependent on GCSE results, including at least grade B in subjects the candidate wishes to study. Exceptions to this are at the Headmaster’s discretion.
We provide Learning Support, from our dedicated Learning Support Department, to enable those pupils with specific learning difficulties to successfully access our academic curriculum. We welcome pupils with physical disabilities provided that they are able to access all areas of the school site and curriculum. However, we advise parents of children with special educational needs/learning difficulties or physical disabilities to discuss their child’s requirements with the School before he or she sits our Entrance examination or Scholarship examination so that we can make adequate provision for him/her. Parents should provide a copy of an Educational Psychologist’s report or a medical report to support their request, for example for extra time or other special arrangements.
