Our bursary programme is available for entry into Senior School.

A bursary is a form of financial assistance which is means tested. Bursaries are not dependent on merit but are awarded to pupils who are likely to gain most from a King’s education and who will contribute fully to the life of the School. Scholarships may be supplemented by bursary assistance if the financial circumstances of the individual family necessitate it.

All applicants are required to disclose, in confidence, their financial details on our Bursary Application form, for submission to the Bursar, before a decision can be reached. Both parents are required to provide proof of their income and assets. The level of support varies according to parental need; however, parents need to be aware that the bursary fund is limited. Bursaries are always offered for 12 months at a time. The family is required to provide fresh information for every year that their child attends the School. Levels of support may vary with fluctuations in income.

If you feel you might be eligible for bursary assistance, please contact the Bursar to discuss this further, or tick the relevant box on the Registration form and a Bursary Application form will be sent to you automatically at the relevant time. Please note that, whilst we would like as many as possible of those pupils who meet our entry requirements to take up a place, the bursary fund is limited.
